Flash back to one of my favorite fishies! This was one of the first fish I painted with watercolors, and quickly realized how much I loved them!

Koi fish-- painted with watercolors. There's somethin about fish that can be so relaxing to paint. They are full of tranquility and peace. I am working on producing a watercolor fish series-- currently I have around 5 or so watercolor fish. A couple gold fish, a couple koi's (like this guy!) and a couple betas! This here is a beautiful goldfish I thought had a lot of character and personality! When painting, I always try to capture the emotion of my subject matter, I feel like that is my favorite part about painting... I am in the process of updating my Etsy shop. I have a few new watercolor paintings I will be adding to sell as prints!

This is one of my latest bird paintings. I actually created a timelapse video of the painting process of this little guy! I felt it festive to subtly add in some juicy red berries in this painting. Tis *almost* the season... The cool colors of this bird really capture the essence of winter itself. I am going to be adding this bird painting up on my Etsy art shop within the next couple days.

My latest watercolor painting! I love sailboats, they are just so pretty and majestic, especially out on the harbor in front of the setting sunset! This painting was a break from my birds and cars and a step into more landscape-based pieces. It was a good change-up, and the vibrant colors of the sunset were really fun to capture.

Delicious chocolate cupcake! This watercolor painting is one I designed specifically for my birthday cupcake greeting card set. I will be creating more birthday-themed cards in the near future, and will be offering them on my Etsy shop. I left the cards blank inside to give the freedom to write whatever the individual wishes!

Vibrant, colorful hummingbird! I focused a lot on the detail portion f this painting. I really wanted to capture its feathering! Hummingbirds are full of so much life, color, and intensity for such a tiny animal! This one was also painted in watercolors and is available in my Etsy shop :)
